Our Story
Founded in 2013, MoCo Crossfit was established with a core philosophy centered around community empowerment and fostering strength and fitness among its members. Situated just north of Rockville Town Center, we have trained thousands of Montgomery County residents since our inception! We proudly operate as a minority-owned business.

Coach Arthur
Arthur Leung is the owner of MoCo CrossFit and founder of Mach10 Weightlifting. Since opening in 2013, he has trained and competed alongside strength athletes from all over the DMV. You can find him coaching weightlifting most mornings or evenings.
Certifications: CrossFit Level 2, USAW Level 1
Coach Mario
Mario, a lifelong athlete, played high school volleyball, college beach volleyball, and participated in five years of racquetball before discovering CrossFit in 2013. A decade later, his passion for the sport remains unwavering. He loves coaching and sharing his experiences with the community. Known for his exceptional patience and dedication, he consistently gives his best, whether in training or coaching. We're happy to have him on our team!

Coach Stef
Growing up, Stef was always active, participating in various team sports like basketball, soccer, and volleyball, just to name a few. In college, she was the typical “gym rat”, investing too many hours at the gym with minimal progress. However, in 2016, she discovered CrossFit and instantly fell in love! She has since ventured into competitions including Flex on the Mall, Battle of Baltimore and Charm City Throwdown, all in the name of fun and fitness! Stef has a soft spot especially for those new to CrossFit; she loves seeing their progress and their surprise as they discover the fun in working out.
Certifications: CrossFit Level 1, Precision Nutrition Level 1, Certified Personal Trainer
Coach Russell
Russell played in all sorts of organized team sports and recreational leagues throughout his life, but his true interest lies in the gym—working out and lifting weights! His preference for barbell workouts eventually led him to CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting. Russell has been a competitive weightlifter for over 4 years now.
Certifications: USAW Level 1
Coach Jess
Jess first started CrossFit in 2014 and began coaching at her local Brooklyn box in 2017. As a nurse and nurse practitioner, she is passionate about promoting a healthy lifestyle and preventing chronic health issues through fitness!
Certifications: CrossFit Level 2
Coach Garrett
Garrett has played sports all his life, including two years of college hockey. Involved in the fitness industry since 2009, he has years of experience as a personal trainer. He first began CrossFit in 2013 and has been actively coaching since 2015.
Coach Sara
Sara got into fitness trying everything: circuit training, boot camps, and boxing, before finding herself at our gym for weightlifting. She has since redirected her training towards CrossFit, enjoying the constant variation and never-ending challenge of the workouts. Her favorite part of coaching is pushing others and watching them grow in their skill and ability.
